I would start by calling AT&T and telling them you need to SIM unlock the phone for travel purposes and they should give you a code to put in the device to take care of that. Afterwards...just pop in a T-Mobile SIM and you should be off. If you do have problems, though, there are several threads at XDA that talk about SIM unlocking and there are utilities available there to do so. Most people, though, just get the code from AT&T because they really don't give you a hard time about it as long as you say you'll be traveling overseas. T-Mobile uses the same GSM technology. I ended up loading ROM 3.53.502.0 WWE with a 1.64.08.21 radio -- developer claims that it is the latest ATT WM6.1 ROM. So far so good, but was curious what I am giving up by not going with a Dutty ROM (for example). What do you mean by speed?
